Madison Hayes-Crook, MA & Dipl. with Honours

Voice - Piano - Ukulele - Guitar - Theory

Madison first decided she wanted musical theatre to be a part of her life when she saw the stage recording of CATS while home sick with chickenpox in grade two. Shortly thereafter she debuted in a children’s production of Les Mis and the rest as they say is history. As a teen she studied RCM voice, piano and theory to combine her love of theatre with a solid classical foundation. From there she attended Randolph College where she received her diploma with honours and is currently working toward her MA at the University of Wales in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance Anxiety.

Madison is a highly experienced musician and educator with over 20 years of diverse training. Having worked and trained across North America, Australia and Taiwan, Madison’s approach combines both classical and contemporary techniques. She confidently prepares students in classical, musical theatre, pop, folk and rock styles and believes in tailoring a unique plan for each student in order to achieve their goals. Outside of the music studio Madison has frequently worked in musical theatre on stages across North American and can be caught on several TV shows and commercials. Some of her favourite credits include Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, 9-5, and Disenchanted. Madison is a bubbly, inviting coach who works hard to ensure students find the joy of performance, while learning excellent technique in a fun, safe space.
